Over the past years, INDEX has sponsored the UAE national team to several international top tournaments in Korea, China, USA, and Spain. Through Game Evolution, INDEX continues to promote eSports for the youth in the UAE, as it is part of its commitment to provide gamers with an ultimate platform for competitive gaming. INDEX has successfully organized a number of eSports events in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, Muscat, Kuwait, and Al Manama. The organizing committee announced during the press conference today that Game Evolution is expected to attract over 10,000 gamers from various nationalities, and it will be open to public with activities for gamers of all ages.

The press conference was presided by Eng. Anas Al Madani, Vice – Chairman and CEO of INDEX Holding and Mr. Rashed Al Zaabi, Owner, of Dragon Master for electronics participating in Game Evolution, during which they elaborated on the importance of ‘Game Evolution’ that will showcase latest game technologies and video games tournaments pitting local and international gamers against each other. The event aims to promote eSports as a professional spectator sport in the region and bring the attention of communities from around the world to the Middle East.

Game Evolution will bring together the community of gamers in the region all while promoting healthy competition. It will be the ideal platform for international, regional and local professional gamers and talents of all ages to compete against one another in different games and across different platforms. The event will also support youth culture in the Gulf region, providing a place for gamers to gather, compete, and take their skills to the next level.

Eng. Anas Al Madani, Vice – Chairman and CEO of INDEX Holding said: “According to research company SuperData Research, the global eSports market revenues have reached $613M in 2015. Additionally, the viewership of eSports events has climbed to 134 million viewers worldwide. Those figures that are increasing by the year reflect the need for such an event that addresses the various aspects related to videogames industry in the region.”

Eng. Al Madani added: “Game Evolution will attract a vibrant extensive mix of hardcore gamers who will come together to discuss, rave and rant about their talents and expertise in video games.

Established hardware vendors, retailers, resellers, regional video games professionals and fans all have something to bring – and will all find something to take away. Through the exhibition that will be running parallel to the tournaments, we are also trying to support the UAE nationals and local businesses to bring their small companies to the international scene. ”

Eng. Anas Al Madani concluded: “We look forward to an event where all participants can compete, connect, and enjoy their time.”

From his side Mr. Rashed Al Zaabi commented about their participation in the show saying: “Dragon Master for electronics is a specialized retail store in video games, gaming pc and other technologies based in Abu Dhabi. Our mission is to provide the best technology available to the UAE gamers in order to enhance their gaming skills. It is worth mentioning that professional gaming teams will compete in two major and widespread PC games within the community: Dota 2 and Counter Strike: Global Offensive. Individual players will have the chance to compete in the four different console games like: Mortal Kombat: X, Ultra Street Fighter IV, Super Smash Bros. 4, and Pro Evolution Soccer 2015. Finalists from qualifying rounds held in June and September will be invited to the main event in November to compete for the grand prize in their respective tournament. The organizers announced that the gross amount of cash and prizes will reach 150,000 AED.

دبي – الإمارات العربية المتحدة، 1 يونيو 2015: أعلنت شركة اندكس للمؤتمرات والمعارض، عضو في اندكس القابضة، الشركة المنظمة للحدث الأبرز في مجال مسابقات الألعاب الإلكترونية وألعاب الفيديو والرياضات الإلكترونية “Game Evolution” (المعروف سابقا باسم البطولة العالمية للألعاب الإلكترونية) عن استضافة دبي لهذا الحدث في السادس والسابع من شهر نوفمبر المقبل في مركز دبي الدولي للمؤتمرات والمعارض.

على مدى السنوات الماضية، رعت شركة اندكس المنتخب الوطني لدولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة للرياضات الإلكترونية أثناء مشاركته في عدة بطولات دولية في كوريا والصين والولايات المتحدة وإسبانيا. من خلال هذا الحدث، تواصل اندكس تقديم دعمها للشباب في دولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة عن طريق توفير المنصة المثلى للمنافسة الجماعية الإلكترونية حيث قامت شركة اندكس بتنظيم عدد من الفعاليات المختصة بالرياضات الإلكترونية في كل من دبي وأبوظبي والعين ومسقط والكويت والمنامة. هذا ومن الجدير بالذكر أن اللجنة المنظمة تتوقع للحدث أن يجذب أكثر من 10 آلاف مشترك من مختلف أنحاء العالم، خاصة وأن الحدث سيكون مفتوحا أمام الجمهور مع فعاليات تناسب اللاعبين من جميع الأعمار.

جاء ذلك خلال المؤتمر الصحفي الذي عقده المهندس أنس المدني، نائب الرئيس والرئيس التنفيذي لشركة اندكس القابضة و السيد راشد الزعابي المالك لشركة دراجون ماستر للإلكترونيات والذي أقيم في فندق كونراد اليوم حيث تحدثا فيه عن التطور المتسارع والملموس الذي يشهده العالم حاليا في مجال الرياضات الإلكترونية ونمو هذا السوق محليا وعالميا والحاجة الماسة لإقامة حدث مثل “Game Evolution”لتسليط الضوء على أحدث التقنيات والمنتجات، وأحدث الألعاب الجماعية وألعاب الفيديو، بهدف تنمية روح المنافسة في أوساط الشباب والفئات العمرية المختلفة.

يـُعتبر “Game Evolution” الحدث المثالي لمحترفي ألعاب الفيديو حيث سيكون بمثابة المنصة الفريدة التي تستضيف أبرز اللاعبين والمحترفين من كافة أنحاء العالم لإبراز مهاراتهم وقدراتهم في ألعاب الفيديو. ويدعم هذا الحدث أيضا جميع الشباب في منطقة الخليج العربي، حيث يعمد لتوفير المكان الأنسب لللاعبين لكي يجتمعوا ويتنافسوا ويظهروا مهاراتهم في أجواء حماسية.

ثم أضاف المهندس أنس المدني قائلا: “يجمع هذا الحدث ما بين محترفي ألعاب الفيديو والألعاب الإلكترونية ومزودي عتاد الألعاب لإبراز مواهبهم وخبراتهم وأحدث منتجاتهم في هذا المجال الحيوي. كما نهدف من خلال المعرض المقام بالتوازي إلى دعم الشركات المحلية لتسليط الضوء على منتجاتها وأحدث ما توصلت له التقنية في هذا المجال على المستوى العالمي”.

ومن الجدير بالذكر أن الحدث سيشهد مشاركة فرق عالمية تضم أمهر اللاعبين المحترفين الذين سيقومون بالتنافس من خلال مجموعة من الألعاب الإلكترونية على منصات الكمبيوتر وأجهزة ألعاب الفيديو ووحدات التحكم للحصول على جوائز قيمة تصل قيمتها الإجمالية إلى 150 ألف درهم إماراتي، هذا وستتأهل الفرق التي تصل إلى التصفيات النهائية في جولات شهري يونيو وسبتمبر إلى تصفيات الحدث الرئيس في شهر نوفمبر المقبل للمنافسة على الجائزة الكبرى في البطولة. وتضم ألعاب الكمبيوتر الجماعية التي ستقوم الفرق بالمنافسة فيها لعبة دوتا 2 ولعبة كونتر سترايك، إضافة إلى ألعاب الفيديو الأخرى للأفراد والتي تشمل: مورتال كومبات اكس، الترا ستريت فايتر 4، سوبر سماش برذرز 4، برو ايفولوشن سوكر 2015.
